Mysty Stewart was born and raised in the San Francisco East Bay Area and brings over 20 years of experience in marketing, public relations, and social media strategy across a range of industries. In 2015, she founded Mysty Stewart Communications, building the business organically through referrals from former colleagues who connected her with brands seeking strategic social media support. What began as a social media–focused practice evolved into an integrated social media and public relations offering, shaped by her deep foundation in PR and long-term brand building.

My degree is in Mass Communications with a focus on Marketing and Public Relations from California State University, Hayward.  I started my career as a marketing executive at organic icons Amy's Kitchen and Spectrum Organics. 
I served as a senior account executive guiding the Lundberg Family Farms brand to national editorial prominence during my 6-year tenure as Lundberg’s publicist. During that time, I served on Lundberg's Crisis Communication team handling various recalls, as well the national “arsenic in rice” media storm.
I also led the PR team that put the Prosecco Producers of Conegliano-Valdobbiadene on the U.S. Map. Over the three-year campaign, Prosecco di Conegliano-Valdobbiadene enjoyed explosive growth in major U.S. markets, with case volume rising 35% in three years. The campaign succeeded in two ways: taking market share from Champagne, and expanding the total market for sparkling wine.
Social media didn’t replace traditional marketing—it transformed it. Having worked in marketing and public relations before social platforms became central, and later in a hybrid PR and social role, I developed a social media specialization shaped by how strategy, content, and visibility work together across platforms. As social media became central to digital marketing, my work evolved alongside it—combining public relations experience with hands-on social strategy to build visibility, engagement, and trust.
